In A Codex of stars we observe the stars not as a sky or as a series of celestial spheres, but as a matter of points, lines, and segments that we traverse at the pace of turning one page at a time.
The book, with a large format, collects a series of drawings depicting the figure of a star; on each page, new combinations emerge which are created from the artist’s drawings rearranged according to a set of pre-established rules. The book’s internal structure extends to the cover, which presents a combination of the two drawings brought together through a vertical cut.
